New NXL X-Ball Field Open To Public In NY

Game Face Paintball and Pro Paintball team up to open upstate New York's first public regulation NXL X Ball field at Crosman Headquarters in East Bloomfield, NY.

X-Ball, the latest rage in competition paintball, has come to East Bloomfield. Game Face Paintball opened its state-of-the-art, regulation NXL X-Ball field to the public on Memorial Day weekend to rave reviews. It will be open for the summer on Fridays from 2 p.m. - 8 p.m., Saturdays noon - 8 p.m. and Sundays from noon- 4 p.m. There will also be team scrimmages held every Sunday from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. The Game Face Field, located at Crosman Corporation's headquarters on Routes 5 & 20 in East Bloomfield, NY, will be managed by a professional staff from Pro Paintball, located in Victor, NY 14564.

The field, originally built to support Game Face's professional NXL franchise team (Detroit Strange), will be used for public and private events, team practices, open play and corporate team building events. There will also be several tournaments and training camps held at the new facility throughout the summer, the first of which will take place on Sunday, June 26th. Advanced registration is required. According to Steve Nelson, Game Face Paintball product manager, opening the X-Ball field up to the public makes sense on many levels. "As the new product development manager, having a steady stream of real live paintball players can only increase the overall quality and innovation going into all future products. This is a great opportunity to test new designs and get feedback direct from the consumer. Also, Pro Paintball has been open for more than eight years and the staff has the knowledge and experience to operate the field successfully. The bottom line is, the field is here and in great condition. We want to make it available to as many players as possible."

The Game Face Field features natural turf, nylon fencing, inflatable X Ball bunkers and facilities staffed by Pro Paintball for the purchase of supplies. For the month of June, they are offering free entry, free air, and free rental guns for all players. Paintballs must be purchased at the field (field paint only).
