NPPL: The Movie?

The NPPL is currently involved in very early conceptual work for a Hollywood production about the sport of paintball, specifically life in the NPPL. Owen Ronayne of WDP has been rumored to be in the movie, either playing as himself or with an actor portraying him. In an email today, Mr. Ronayne allowed that there is a working script as well as the support of an as yet unknown Hollywood actor in the director's chair.

Mr. Ronayne hopes that if he's not able or allowed to play himself in the movie, then actor Benicio del Torro would be willing to take on the part. This author has already suggested that he play himself in the movie, and if that weren't possible due to his appearance, then Vince Vaughn be cast to portray the obligitory hard-nosed reporter type. The author's wife suggested Johnny Knoxville.
