Jawwbraker #5 Released

After a few delays, Disconnected Promotions has finally released the much-anticipated Jawwbraker Video Series Episode #5 DVD. In conjunction, a revamped www.jawwbraker.com has launched, which includes a random drawing for an autographed Oliver Lang jersey and Episode # 3 DVD, featuring Oliver.

“We hope everybody will feel it’s been worth the wait,” said producer Dan Napoli. “I think this is Brad Maughan’s finest work as a director. It’s easily our best-looking DVD. The show is more streamlined, and we use the bonus menu more effectively. Oh yeah, and there’s lots of action with people getting wrecked to cool music. And of course Markus.”

Markus Nielsen, the controversial Arsenal superstar, is the Real Life subject. His controversial interviews led producers to put an EXPLICIT CONTENT warning on the DVD, a first for Jawwbraker.

“You can’t film Markus, then cut all the stuff that makes him who he is,” said Napoli. “You’d have like thirty seconds of footage, and it would be fake and boring. I mean we beeped his potty mouth, but its still pretty crazy. He’s certainly one of a kind. I’ve never met anybody quite like Markus in my six-plus years in the sport. I keep telling people you should see the stuff that DIDN”T make it in.”

Another unique feature of Episode # 5 is the inclusion of a free CD, featuring a collection of songs used in the last three episodes, packaged with the DVD. This is a first for paintball.

“That’s completely because of Planet Eclipse, our new distributor,” said Napoli. “It was their idea, and they paid the extra cost to have it produced and licensed.”

In celebration of the new release, www.jawwbraker.com is completely revamped, and running a killer contest for an autographed Oliver Lang jersey and copy of Episode # 3. The new website has more features, more clips, and is more player driven.

“We wanted to have the website better integrated with the content of our DVDs,” said Shon Lieske, Co-Owner of Disconnected Promotions. “So now there is a Real Life section on our site. We also wanted to provide a better music resource for kids to see what songs we use in what section, because we are always getting asked.”

The contest for the Oliver Lang jersey runs through September 20. No purchase is necessary.

“Ollie a great guy and been really supportive of Jawwbraker,” said Napoli. “Those jersey sell for $100 on www.ollielang.com . So its really generous of him to give us one to give to kids.”

Planet Eclipse is currently handling all dealer orders for Jawwbraker # 5. They are also providing a free, shortened, in-store version of the DVD-appropriate for all ages- with every store order.

“We try to be aware of the needs of retailers as best we can,” Napoli said. “So we wanted to provide them something they can play in their store and not worry about upsetting parents or young ears.”
