World Cup 2005

This year's PSP World Cup is once again going to be held at the Wide World of Sports in Kissimmee, Florida.  The sprawling sports complex is traditionally recognized as one of the best venues that the PSP and the sport in general can have.  This year's World Cup will take an entire week, beginning Monday, October 24th, and ending Sunday, October 30th.  Registration for this year's World Cup started August 29th, and below is the schedule of events for this year's World Cup:

Monday, October 24th:
12pm - Registration opens onsite for the event and will remain open through
Saturday
6:30pm - Captain’s meeting for D2 and D3 Xball and Open and D1 5-man

Tuesday, October 25th:
- D2 and D3 Xball games begin and will continue through Sunday
- Open and D1 5-man games begin

Wednesday, October 26th:
- Open and D1 5-man semis and finals
6:30pm - Captains’ meeting for Open and D1 Xball and D2 and D3 5-man

Thursday, October 27th:
- Open and D1 Xball games begin and will continue through Sunday
- Round 1 D2 and D3 5-man games begin and will continue through Sunday
6:30 pm - Captains’ meeting for Round 2 D2 and D3 5-man

Friday, October 28th:
- Round 2 D2 and D3 5-man games begin and will continue through Sunday
6:30 pm - Captains’ meeting for Young Guns

Saturday, October 29th:
- Young Guns begins
- D2 and D3 5-man quarter and semifinals

Championship Sunday, October 30th
- Finals for all Xball divisions, D2 and D3 5-man, and Young Guns
