NPS/PMI Merger Talks Have Ceased

In a phone call late this afternoon, PMI President Jeff Perlmutter stated that the previously ongoing talks between National Paintball Supply and PMI had ceased and no transaction had taken place.

Mr. Perlmutter said “PMI continues their business activities as before as the manufacturer and exclusive distributor of their highly desirable brands of paintball products which include RPS paintballs, Pure Energy air systems, Piranha markers, X RAY goggle systems, Extreme Rage, and EVIL products and gear” 

He went on to say,   “PMI also continues to be the industry leading wholesale only distributor of a full product line of the most popular paintball game products and brands such as JT, View Loader, Tippmann, Smart Parts, and Shocktech, to name a few. PMI provides dealers and game fields maximum convenience for servicing their needs from seven distribution facilities in North America and one distribution facility in England to service the growing European market.”

Attempts were made to contact JJ Brookshire of NPS to confirm that talks had ceased, and as of this writing no contact was established.
