WGP & EMR Producing Western Worrs Big Game
1-19-05: With the building of FORT WORR at EMR in New Milford, PA, WORR GAME PRODUCTS and E.M.R. PAINTBALL PARK have joined forces to produce a new game called WESTERN WORRS. The premier of this game will be held the weekend of July 9th & 10th of 2005. On the defensive side will be the soldiers of Fort Worr and the Fort Worr outpost, led by Bud Orr and Sonny Lopez of WGP, combined with the settlers of the Trapper's Camp, Miner's Camp, and the Ranch Compound. On the attacking side will be the mighty Native Warriors lead by Team IROQUOIS INVASION, who will be trying to destroy all of the compounds and take over FORT WORR. The odds will be three Native Warriors against one soldier or settler.
The game itself will be held on Saturday and will encompass 9 playing areas: Fort Worr, Headhunter's Haven, Sgt. Splatters, Pub Crawling Place, Deuce's Wild Tourny Complex, Margaritaville, Ferrymen's Air Field, Bonehead's Bash, and Brew Crew Bowery. Each of the outposts and compounds will be worth points to the attackers if overthrown and points to the defenders for every 15 minutes that they can hold them.
FORT WORR will also be worth points for every section of the fort that the Attackers can take and hold and points for the defenders for every 15 minutes that they control each section. When all of the outposts have fallen, the defenders of those outposts will be able to reinsert from off the field as Calvary coming in to reinforce the defenders.
After the game on Saturday, there will be a huge prize giveaway followed by a Player's Party complete with food, beverages, fireworks, and the traditional bon fire. On Sunday will be mini-games scheduled throughout the day on various fields as well as other events like the Quick Draw Shootout contest.
