Jerry Braun Sells Interests

Jerry Braun Sells His
Interests in Cousins Paintball
1-27-05:

The new year marked the end of an era as Jerry Braun announced the sale of his interests in the Cousins Paintball fields and retail store operations, along with Generation E Sports, to his long-time partners, Dean DelPrete and Paul Sattler. Effective January 1, 2005, Braun is no longer a partner in Cousins' four paintball fields and five retail stores in the New York
tri-state area.
Calling the buy-out a "semi-retirement," Jerry stated that he, Dean and Paul will remain partners in the areas of tournament promotion, television opportunities and magazine publishing. "It has been a wonderful experience working with these guys," he said. "I am very happy that this partnership will be maintained in other areas. In regard to the operational companies, I felt the need to slow down a bit."
Dean, Paul and Jerry have been partners for nearly 12 years. In making the
announcement, Braun took a moment to reflect on the past decades in paintball. "I would like to thank all the wonderful people that I have had the privilege of working with all these years, notably those at the Cousins Plattekill field," he said. "I value the many friendships that I made and will treasure them always." He added, "I leave the Cousins stores and fields and Gen E in the most
capable hands and wish Dean and Paul much success in moving forward with
these companies." Dean commented, "My partner Paul and I will continue to grow Cousins Paintball and Generation E, providing the same high levels of customer service and quality that we have for so many years."
