Skirmish World Record Paintball Game

On September 11th and 12th, thousands of paintball players will descend upon Skirmish USA, in an effort to break the previous record of 2711 players that was set at their 2004 D-day scenario game. The players will be split into two teams, and pursue multiple objectives throughout the 700-acre paintball facility. Skirmish is located in the Pocono Mountains of Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania - 2 hours west of Manhattan, and 90 minutes north of Center City Philadelphia. Game times are 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Plus, there will be two-hour night game, with special lighting effects, taking place on Saturday at 8:00 p.m. Players are welcome to bring their own paintball guns and related equipment. Rental equipment is available to anyone. Skirmish will also host a World Record Party on Saturday evening at 6:00 pm with a raffle, wet t-shirt contest, coolest gun, best costume, hottest tattoo, and paintball eating contest. First place in the infamous wet t-shirt contest will take home a Green Blast Ultimate Shocker Package, with a low-pressure max-flo system, valued over $1100.00 from Smart Parts. In all, there will be over $5000 worth of prizes and give-a-ways! An industry trade show will take place before, during, and after the playing event. This trade show will include paintball equipment companies and their representatives from all over the world. Players can demo paintball guns and equipment from several manufacturers, including: Smart Parts, Draxxus, National Paintball Supply, Tippmann, Center Flag, Pemberton Paintball Supply, Operation Ambush, On Top Paintball, Gunslingers, Reactive Paintball, East Lake Design, Paintball Kingdom, Hammerhead, and Armotech. If it’s made for paintball, it’ll be there. Entry fees are $12.00 for the entire weekend…all three games (Saturday, Saturday Night, and Sunday).
